The HappyFeet CURRICULUM
We use familiar songs, stories, nursery rhymes and fun games to introduce soccer to children as young as two years old. Our unique curriculum triggers your child's imagination by taking their soccer ball, Bob the Bobcat, on adventures to the zoo, the movies, and even an enchanted castle! Our philosophy and curriculum encourages children to tame their bobcat ball with their learned deceptive dribbling and ball striking skills. We leverage creative play and the important developmental skills it provides to make fitness and soccer their favorite weekly activity!
By progressing through our age appropriate curriculum from Little Toes to Legends your little one is ensured to have built a solid foundation we hope will lead to a life long involvement in sports and fitness and hopefully soccer! With an approach designed to support our little soccer stars in classroom learning we will introduce the foundation skills of soccer along with more complex deceptive dribbling and ball striking skills of soccer giving your little soccer star a head start in the world's most popular game.
Our Age Appropriate and Progressive Curriculum
Designed to place your little soccer star in their own imagined movie, we sing songs, play fun games and go on exciting adventures with Bob the Soccer Ball. Our aim at this age is to introduce our little ones to soccer and sports in a fun, comfortable, and loving environment that makes learning new things fun, improves balance and coordination and has an amazing impact on your little ones self-confidence and go for it mentality!
A progression from LittleToes incorporating age appropriate elements based on the developmental skills of our three year old soccer stars. We introduce your little one to foundational concepts and deceptive dribbling skills, teamwork, and self-expression. Your child learns valuable lessons for all areas of life. With each child having a soccer ball for the entirety of the session we maximize touches and introduce deceptive dribbling skills that is an amazing foundation in the sport of soccer while providing development in their gross motor skills, balance, and coordination.
As our little soccer stars become more comfortable with the ball at their feet we introduce more advanced deceptive dribbling skills while learning complex soccer skills in a fun and non-competitive environment. Your little soccer stars will be playing more challenging games designed to maximize balance and coordination, improve overall fitness, and develop their decision making skills.
HappyFeet Advanced is for 5-6 year olds and is designed as a preparation for the more competitive club soccer experiences. Our professional coaches teach a more advanced individual skill development focus which is key at this early stage. Each session involves fun, creative soccer activities with a ball while learning to perform the more complex deceptive dribbling and goal scoring skills. Your protege is gradually introduced to manageable pressure to enhance skill development and improve decision making. In this crucial stage, your child will learn to manage intelligent risk, hone their individual creativity and self-expression, and embrace new challenges that will prepare them for success!
Legends Soccer is the next step after HappyFeet for Girls & Boys ages 6 and Up. Our Professional Coaches teach world class dribbling and shooting skills to better prepare players for the highest level. It involves the two skills that are easiest to practice at home and most motivating to players. It focuses on the skills that develop great self-belief and leadership. Soccer games are often decided by a series of 1v1 contests all over the field. The world's best players both past and present like Ronaldo, Maradona, Johan Cruyff, Zidane and Ronaldinho, all had "Legendary 1v1 Moves" that gave them the EDGE over defenders in 1v1 situations. It's these moves that separated them from other players and helped them become the best players in the world. Practicing and perfecting these Legendary 1v1 Moves will give you improved confidence in your game and make you a better team player by giving you an EDGE over your opponent.
